Our state government client, based in the North of Perth, is seeking a driven Business Manager to join their busy team. Our client is seeking someone to commence as soon as possible. This will be a temporary contract arrangement with the expectation of working a full-time government working week of 37.5 hours.
Your new role
- Provides strategic direction, business planning, and governance oversight for the division.
- Analyses financial performance, manages budgets, and ensures compliance with financial policies.
- Develops business plans, monitors key performance indicators, and recommends improvement strategies.
- Builds strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
- Manages service agreements and procurement processes to support operational goals.
- Drives innovation, challenges conventional approaches, and leads change initiatives.
- Ensures adherence to health standards, workplace safety, and relevant policies and legislation
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds relevant qualifications in business, finance, or accounting, or extensive equivalent experience.
- Applies strategic thinking, drives change, and collaborates effectively within senior management teams.
- Experienced in business planning, budgeting, and financial management within complex organisations.
- Skilled in financial and activity reporting, analysis, and system management.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to foster productive relationships.
- Ability to optimise resources while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
