As a Senior Officer – Talent Acquisition, you’ll be a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them through recruitment processes with insight, care, and strategic thinking. You’ll work collaboratively with a skilled team while also having the autonomy to shape and improve recruitment strategies. The role is focused on connections, building strong relationships, providing considered advice and helping the agency attract the right people.
You will report to the Team Leader and deliver end-to-end recruitment support for the Data division.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end recruitment processes with professionalism, accuracy, timeliness and efficiency.
Partnering with hiring managers to take a thoughtful approach to recruitment.
Administering the agency’s recruitment system, eRecruit, to ensure seamless operations.
Preparing high-quality correspondence, including letters and emails, related to both routine and complex recruitment matters.
Ensuring pre-employment documentation is accurate and compliant.
Driving innovation to maximise the benefits of change and contribute to improved quality and efficiency of services, including tools to support recruitment and selection methods.
What you'll need to succeed

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A strategic mindset with a passion for making recruitment more effective.
Solid experience in recruitment operations, ideally within government or large organisations.
Experience using eRecruit and understanding of recruitment processes to apply policy knowledge effectively.
Minimum Baseline Federal Government Security Clearance and Australian citizenship.
