Are you an organised and professional individual with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills? We are seeking a Legal Receptionist to be the first point of contact at our client's dynamic and fast-paced law firm.

Your new role

As our Legal Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and providing top-tier service to clients. You will be responsible for managing reception duties, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and supporting the legal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage appointments and coordinate meetings between lawyers, clients, and legal professionals.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
  • Handle correspondence, including emails, letters, and legal documents.
  • Maintain and organise client files, records, and case documentation.
  • Process payments and assist with billing enquiries.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security when handling sensitive legal information.
  • Provides general administrative support to lawyers and legal teams.
  • Assist in planning office events, training sessions, and meetings as required.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience in reception or administrative roles (legal experience preferred but not essential).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal practice management software.

  • High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information securely.

  • A proactive and professional approach to work.

  • The ability to maintain a welcoming and client-focused environment.
