Your new role

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer who can be immediately productive and is comfortable working on Campus Solutions from both a functional and technical perspective. Demonstrated understanding of the business user perspective and ability to develop technical designs in response to both documented and evolving user requirements is essential for success in this role. The role will involve hands-on PeopleSoft development tasks, functional tasks and data work as well as regular communication with both the business and team members across IT.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in the design, development and support of Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions systems in a complex information environment

• High level skills in the use of programming languages and development tools, such as SQL, PeopleCode and the PeopleTools platform, as well as the development and support of web services and APIs using the PeopleTools platform.

• Demonstrated experience working with business users to refine requirements and design PeopleSoft solutions to meet their needs.

• Demonstrated ability to quickly become a productive member of a cross-functional team.

• Demonstrated skills in personal time management and the ability to maintain high productivity with minimum supervision.

• Significant experience of security issues at applications, database, networking and operating system levels, as well as considerations for integration platforms and cloud technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to lead, teach and mentor less experienced information technology staff.
