Your new role

• Designing and developing high-performance backend services using Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
• Collaborating with architects, product owners, and other developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
• Driving best practices in code quality, testing, and system design.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and mentoring other developers.
• Working across the full SDLC in an agile, collaborative environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Candidates should have full working rights in Australia (No sponsorship available).- Please do not apply if you do not have full working rights.
• Minimum 2 days per week on site, as agreed with the Hiring Manager.
• 5+ years of experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• A passion for clean, maintainable code and scalable architecture.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
