Your new role

Step into a HSEQ Coordinator position where you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining safe and compliant work environments. You’ll work closely with teams across warehouse and operational sites, providing guidance on risk management, incident reporting, and quality assurance. Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with leaders to identify hazards and ensure workplace safety.
  • Overseeing and refining Safety & Health Management Systems (SHMS).
  • Conducting incident tracking, hazard assessments, and reporting.
  • Leading risk evaluations, reviewing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), and facilitating briefings.
  • Staying updated with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Managing quality control processes, including audits and continuous improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in health and safety
  • Strong ability to coordinate and support teams
  • Exposure to the Mining industry, preferably in coal and underground
  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (WHS).
  • RIIRIS402E G2 – Carry Out the Risk Management Process certification.
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Additional experience in the following areas will be highly advantageous:
  • Exposure to polymeric chemical operations.
