Our client is one of the leading educational institutes. They are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst experienced in staff engagement and payroll.
Your new role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you’ll be ensuring that complex business rules related to staff engagement and payroll outcomes are accurately captured, interpreted, and embedded into practical and compliant system solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial awards, enterprise agreements, and organisational business policies to ensure accurate translation into system rules
- Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify gaps and recommend improvements aligned with the STA solution.
- Work closely with project managers, technical teams, HR, and operations to ensure solutions are compliant with industrial relations requirements and meet business goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to scheduling, rostering, time tracking, and attendance.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Payroll Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong background in Award Interpretation and Business Policy
- Experience as a Senior Business Analyst on large-scale enterprise system implementations
- Knowledge related to time and attendance or workforce management environments
- Experience with rostering platforms such as Nimbus Time2Work, WFS and UKG is highly desirable.
Sound understanding of scheduling, timekeeping, labour law compliance, and workforce optimisation practices.
