Your new role
Reporting to Senior Project Officer, Urban Water Security; you’ll:
- Contribute to emergency response, policy development, and resilience programs related to climate change and risk management.
- Support project delivery on environmental impacts, including blue-green algae, water disruptions, and dam safety incidents.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence on water emergency management.
- Conduct research and analysis, establish program processes, and manage meetings, databases, and action tracking.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualification or equivalent experience in the environment/water sector.
- Strong project management and implementation skills.
- Proven data analysis expertise to support informed decision-making.
- Knowledge of government processes and ministerial functions (desirable).
