A national plasterboard supply company is seeking experienced forklift operators to work with their close-knit team in Mitchell. Due to one of their team members planning to relocate, they are seeking an experienced forklift operator to hit the ground running.

Your new role

As a forklift operator, you'll be required to:

• Operate the forklift in a safe and professional manner, moving large, long and fragile items.

• Load and unload deliveries from trucks

• Assist with stock take and order picking

• Assist customers with picking-up orders in the warehouse

• Maintain safe manual handling processes and comply with all WHS practices

• You'll also be assisting with general cleaning duties as needed

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful for this position, you’ll need:

• A forklift license with demonstrated experience in a similar role

• A current White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness card is preferred but not essential

• This role requires you to complete strenuous manual handling tasks, where you’ll need to be physically capable and willing to do so

• An up-to-date resume including your experience and relevant licenses

• You’ll be paid an above award rate of $34-$35 p/h with all industry allowances and penalties
