Your new role
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Completing BAS and other compliance-based work
- Meeting with clients to provide tax advice and build strong professional relationships
- Supporting junior staff and contributing to a positive team culture
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and direct client interaction.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Recent experience working in an Australian public practice accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
