Your new role

• Operate cranes and forklifts to transport materials efficiently.
• Conduct stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Supply processing machines with materials and support the outfeed process.
• Unload incoming trucks and prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
• Load prepared materials onto delivery vehicles.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and contribute to improvement initiatives.
• Engage in Toolbox and Safety Meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve shared goals.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous warehouse experience
• Forklift licence desirable
• Telehandler / Overhead crane experience
• Contactable references
• Must live locally in Mackay and have reliable transport

What you'll get in return

If successful in this role you will secure a long-term position, working for a steel business in Mackay. You will be working Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm with potential overtime also. This position is long term for the right person, starting off casually through Hays then could find you transitioning full time with the client down the track.
