Your new role
Managing payables and receivables, coding bills, handling Xero expenses, and issuing invoices
Processing full bank reconciliations, coding transactions, and ensuring financial accuracy.
Managing payroll with complex pay structures, calculating tax obligations, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing GST Activity Statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines (IAS, BAS, PRT, superannuation).
Collaborating with a portfolio of clients to obtain information
Assisting with income tax preparation (Can develop skills further with tax)
What you'll need to succeed
1+ year's experience in bookkeeping/accounting within a practice setting
Proficiency with Xero and cloud-based financial systems
Ability to manage multiple client entities with accuracy
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Passionate about continuous learning
