Your new role
Our client is seeking a professional to manage and administer Contracts of Sale, including post-settlement conditions and related conveyancing duties. Reporting to the Conveyancing Manager, this role also involves supporting other conveyancing tasks as needed within the team.
- Manage and administer sales and acquisition contracts.
- Monitor and ensure accurate settlement dates using company systems.
- Negotiate with stakeholders on settlement matters.
- Prepare and reconcile settlement statements and adjustments.
- Coordinate and administer settlement variations and substitute purchasers.
- Prepare and lodge legal documents using PEXA.
- Maintain and update company systems (e.g., Clarity, Objective).
- Provide high-level customer service to stakeholders.
- Monitor compliance of post-settlement contract conditions.
- Assist banks with mortgage registrations (refinances).
- Liaise with sales officers, development managers, buyers, agents, financial institutions, and government agencies.
- Conduct research and information gathering.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed - Understanding of land subdivision processes and relevant legislation.
- Ability to perform a wide range of conveyancing tasks.
- Experience in preparing complex conveyancing documents.
- Knowledge of Contracts of Sale and standard conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using company systems and web-based tools (e.g., Landgate, Map Viewer, PEXA).
- Well-organised with the ability to manage a high volume of work.
- Experience in an organisation with similar values and ethics is highly desirable.
