Your new role
In this temporary assignment, your responsibilities will include:
Provide contemporary, best practice human resources advice and support to business unit staff on tactical human resources matters including (Workforce management policy and practices, recruitment policy and practices, and preparing job descriptions, and workforce reporting).
Undertake training needs analysis activities and assist with preparing workforce operational plans.
Prepare workforce management related documents, such as letters, reports, submissions, guidelines, procedures, and presentations.
Assist with implementing workforce initiatives associated with building a sustainable, high-performance and safe workplace culture and growing a strong employee value proposition.
Provide operational HR advice to managers, ensuring effective decision-making and compliance.
Collaborate with hiring managers to address staffing challenges and support recruitment processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience in generalist Human Resources providing advice on workforce management policies and practices, coordinating recruitment, and analysis of workforce data.
- Consultancy skills and strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and previous experience preparing and reviewing workforce business cases.
- Demonstrated ability to sensitively, confidently and fairly manage people issues in an environment of change.
- Skilled at using of digital technology (WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint Outlook, SharePoint, TEAMS) as communication tools and to prepare and present engaging and informative workforce information.
