Your new role
As a Senior Software Engineer specialising in Azure Integration, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s cloud integration landscape. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable integration solutions that connect on-premises and cloud-based systems. This includes crafting secure, compliant, and high-performing architectures using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Functions, and Event Grid.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, guide technical decisions, and ensure the seamless integration of systems. Your responsibilities will also include mentoring junior engineers, maintaining documentation, and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with ITIL standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant IT qualifications and/or Microsoft Azure certifications
- Proven experience designing and delivering cloud integration solutions using Azure Integration Services
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Event Grid, and Azure SQL
- Experience with ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with version control and development tools such as GitHub and Visual Studio Code
- Strong understanding of security and compliance best practices within Azure environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Desirable: Proficiency in a modern programming language supported by Azure, knowledge of Azure AD, Data Lake, and experience in ITIL-based environments
