Your new role

A highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer is sought to join a dynamic team in Melbourne. This role requires an individual capable of independently designing high-rise and multi-storey buildings using advanced structural engineering software. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, people management, and client relationship skills.
This position requires full-time work in the office.

• Independently design high-rise and multi-storey buildings.
• Utilise software such as SpaceGass, Structural Toolkit, and ETABS for structural design.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and drafters.
• Maintain and develop excellent client relationships.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Participate in project planning and coordination meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

For this senior role, you will need the backing up of previous similar experience working on similar building projects as well as:

• Proficiency in SpaceGass, Structural Toolkit, and ETABS software.
• Extensive experience in designing Steel, Concrete or Timber Buildings.
• Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong people management and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record of maintaining excellent client relationships.
• Registered Engineer with the Building Licencing Authority (BLA).
• Chartered Engineer status (Chartership can be facilitated by the organisation if needed).
