Channel Sales Specialist for the Renewable Energy Team at one of the leading telecommunications companies.
Your New Company:

Join one of the leading telecommunications companies as a Channel Sales Specialist for the Renewable Energy Team. This role is part of the Consumer Department, specifically within the digital power sales sector, focusing on the renewable industry (solar panels, batteries, green energy).

Location: Chatswood, Sydney (office based). Open to candidates to work remote from Perth, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Your New Role:

As a Channel Sales Specialist, you will be part of a team of three, working closely with 11 colleagues in the department and three in New Zealand. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new distributors, retailers, and installers to strengthen regional coverage.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key channel partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Coordinating internal and external sales events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Training and supporting partners on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with marketing and technical teams to create joint business plans and promotional campaigns.
  • Providing regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and actionable insights to senior management.
What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • 1–3 years of channel sales experience in the renewable energy market or a related business.
  • Willingness to travel within Australia, spending more than half of the time in Sydney and the rest travelling interstate (mostly QLD, VIC, and WA) for 5–10 days per month.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
