Working with a forward-thinking international consultant who partners with clients within the renewable sector, working on solar, wind and storage projects. They are looking for a Client side Site Manager to join their team on a contract basis to run a project in South Australia.

Your new role

The Site Manager has a significant responsibility for the success of the project, working alongside and managing contractors, dealing with quality control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. This role involves coordinating with diverse stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and implementing risk management strategies. The Site Manager ensures the efficient allocation of resources, maintains a focus on safety and quality, and communicates effectively managing stakeholders at all levels, ranging from clients, contractors, landowners and councils, ensuring everyone is informed of project progress.

What you'll need to succeed

• Client-side experience
• Qualification/s in Construction, Project Management, Engineering or similar.
• Site manager experience in managing civil and electrical components of renewable energy projects in Australia.
• Experience managing an internal team and contractors on site
  1. On-site-based roles, including working in outdoor environments with exposure to weather changes, heights, confined spaces, loud machinery, and remote locations with limited amenities.
• Familiar with IR laws, including previous experience dealing with unions and union representatives
• Valid White Card
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Working rights for Australia
