Interim Finance Manager needed for our amazing not-for-profit client in Melbourne

We are delighted to be partnering with one of our long-standing clients in the not-for-profit space to recruit an interim Finance Manager to support the organisation in a time of need.

Your new role

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, you will be responsible for the financial management of the organisation while leading a small team of accountants. Key duties include:

  • Provide reports and secretariat to the Finance, Audit and Risk Monitoring Committee.
  • Review monthly financial reports: Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Cash Flow and provide commentary.
  • Oversee and manage the end-of-financial year audit.
  • Ensure preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS and FBT.
  • Direct management and supervision of the finance team.
  • Preparation of the annual budget.

What you'll need to succeed

  • CA/CPA qualification.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrable experience of leading and managing teams.

  • Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly regarded.
