Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer - Ab Initio, you will play a crucial role in our Software Engineering - Fraud and Scam Chapter. You will design and code applications that protect our customers from fraud and scams, using cutting-edge technologies to stay ahead of fraudsters. Your work will involve developing high TPS low latency applications, APIs, and leveraging Ab Initio for data integration.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Solid hands-on experience with data engineering/ETL principles, Unix/Linux, Ab Initio (A MUST), and other data integration tools.
  • Strong coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor and provide technical assistance to team members.
  • Knowledge of industry best patterns and practices.
  • Experience in developing and deploying high-quality software solutions with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Comfort with estimating development effort for new features.
  • Capability to lead Level 3 or above support and technical troubleshooting activities.
  • Hands-on programming experience (8-12 years) with Ab Initio products and shell scripting.
  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle), SQL, AWS Cloud, MQs, REST APIs, Kafka, CI/CD concepts, and coding in Python and Java.
