Your new role
As a Finance Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing financial processes, particularly invoice management, procurement, and coordination support. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end invoicing, ensuring compliance with financial frameworks, and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers. Your role will also encompass financial tracking, problem-solving, and supporting system migrations and committee engagements.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Experience in finance administration, particularly in invoice management and procurement.
Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure coding aligns with budgets.
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The ability to proactively track and manage financial workflows, ensuring timely approvals and payments.
Proficiency in financial systems, including vendor profile maintenance and system migrations.
Organisational skills to coordinate meetings, document agendas, and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
