This family-owned enterprise is a trusted name in the transport industry, specialising in freight deliveries across Australia. If you are a payroll expert with experience in Micropay and are living in Tully or open to relocating to Far North Queensland, this could be your next opportunity.

Your new role

As the Payroll Lead, you will oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You'll handle daily payroll tasks, manage superannuation and PAYG liabilities, and respond to staff wage queries. Reporting to the CFO, you'll work closely with the HR Manager and other departments to maintain smooth payroll operations.

What you'll need to succeed

To excel in this role, you'll need extensive experience in payroll management, proficiency with Micropay and Excel, and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple pay types and schedules are essential. Experience in a high-accountability environment will be beneficial.
