Office Administrator

Hays is currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator in a permanent capacity.

Your new company

Hays is partnering with a local Not-For-Profit organisation in the Bellarine region to recruit a permanent Office Administrator. The role involves working 72 hours per fortnight, structured as a 9-day fortnight.

Your new role

The Office Administrator role involves managing reception and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and directing guests and visitors with a warm reception

  • Making tea/coffee for VIP visitors

  • Handling incoming phone calls promptly and courteously

  • Coordinating events and meetings, including setup and clean up.

  • Efficient and accurate data entry and financial record maintenance

  • Managing supplies, mail, and donations

  • Supporting IT coordination and volunteer management

  • Maintaining a clean and organised reception area and records system


What you'll need to succeed

  • A current Working With Children’s Check.

  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)

  • High level communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities

  • Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

  • Time management and multitasking proficiency

  • Familiarity with Microsoft suite, databases, and accounting software

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and software

  • Ability to work independently and address issues efficiently

  • Previous experience in a Not-For-Profit Organisation (highly desirable)

  • Barista skills or willingness to learn
