Hays is partnering with a local Not-For-Profit organisation in the Bellarine region to recruit a permanent Office Administrator. The role involves working 72 hours per fortnight, structured as a 9-day fortnight.
Your new role
The Office Administrator role involves managing reception and administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:
Greeting and directing guests and visitors with a warm reception
Making tea/coffee for VIP visitors
Handling incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
Coordinating events and meetings, including setup and clean up.
Efficient and accurate data entry and financial record maintenance
Managing supplies, mail, and donations
Supporting IT coordination and volunteer management
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area and records system
What you'll need to succeed
A current Working With Children’s Check.
First Aid Certificate (desirable)
High level communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Time management and multitasking proficiency
Familiarity with Microsoft suite, databases, and accounting software
Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and software
Ability to work independently and address issues efficiently
Previous experience in a Not-For-Profit Organisation (highly desirable)
Barista skills or willingness to learn
