My client, a specialist in the manufacturing and installation of quality heating, ventilation and air conditioning ductwork, requires a first-class sheet metal worker for a long-term role.

Your new role

In your new role, your responsibilities will include:

• Light sheet metal fabrication
• Manufacturing goods to the customers' requirements
• Interpreting product drawings
• Operating Sheet Metal manufacturing equipment
• General housekeeping of the factory
• MIG welding
• Fabrication of HVAC Systems and general sheet metal Jobs
• Manufacture of Foam ductboard

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be willing to work within a safety framework and follow policies and procedures, and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Have the ability to read, understand and interpret drawings and customer specifications
• Be a quick learner
• Have good attention to detail
• Have experience of using basic hand and power tools
• Have worked in manufacturing or production
• Be a good team player and willing to perform to the best of your ability at all times

What you'll get in return

The role is a long-term role with the possibilities of a permanent position and will pay between $39-$45ph + super.
