Administration Officer
Location: Kempsey
Hourly Rate: $35 – 40 an hour plus
Contract: Fulltime, Mon – Fri, June – Nov
Your new company
You will be working with a NSW Government organisation on a full-time temporary contract. This organisation serves the community by providing emergency response services, and by helping to minimise the risk/impact of potential incidents. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join the team. This role will be fully in office, no working from home is offered in this role.
Your new role
- Providing a range of administrative activities to support the business needs of the team
- Coordination of office systems to improve office efficiencies in accordance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Deliver a diverse range of quality customer service and referring enquiries in an effective and responsive manner
- Coordination of meetings and preparation of agendas, as well as the distribution of minutes
- General administration duties and work closely with relevant stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as an Administration Officer, you will have:
- Previous experience as an administrator in a government organisation (highly desirable)
- Excellent tech skills, able to pick up new systems quickly
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Share the same and/or similar values of the organisation
