Your new company
A government department in Perth CBD are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the team. This role will initially be offered on a 5-month temporary contract, working full-time hours and paying a competitive hourly rate.
Your new role
To be considered, you will need:
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies for low-value/risk contracts
- Liaise with key stakeholders regarding new contracts, contract changes and feedback received from buyers
- Ensure that purchasing practices implemented comply with the department's policies and requirements
- Assist in managing communication and relationships between the department and key suppliers
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in managing procurement activities and basic contract management
- Previous state government experience would be highly desired
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- A reliable and positive work ethic, with an eagerness to support a team
- Excellent IT skills with experience using contract management software systems
