Service Designer

Are you a seasoned 'Service Designer" who is looking for the next contract role?

Your new company

The department oversees the continuous operation and coordination of the state's transit networks and is also in charge of delivering new and upgraded transit infrastructure. They are looking for a Service Designer for a 6-month contract.


Your new role

In this role, you will collaborate with technology and business representatives to facilitate the joint design of processes, systems, and tools. You’ll advocate for the user's perspective and develop comprehensive end-to-end process maps to streamline and automate business processes. Working as part of a team, you’ll initiate, design, develop, and deliver tools and processes that enable business operations.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful, you surely need to have analytical thinking and problem solving attitude. You’ll also need to have"
  • Engage with teams and stakeholders, build consensus, and influence leaders.
  • Lead design-thinking workshops, customer interviews, and focus groups.
  • Hands on Human Centred Design experience is mandatory.
  • Identify requirements, address inefficiencies, and optimise processes.
  • Develop innovative technical solutions for productivity and efficiency.
  • Document business processes and gather requirements.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation and validate user requirements.
