Your new role
Reporting to the Environmental Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the ongoing development and review of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Supporting various work groups across the organisation in implementing EMS principles, aiming to embed environmental management into standard business practices.
- Assessing the organisation’s environmental performance against legislative requirements and EMS standards.
- Contributing to environmental reporting, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
In addition to qualifications in Environmental Science or Environmental Management, you’ll possess:
- Experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems (highly desirable).
- Expertise in environmental risk management, preferably in a senior advisory role.
- Knowledge and practical application of environmental legislation and regulations.
- Strong ability to grasp new concepts and deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Outstanding relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
