Your new role

The Assistant Development Manager is responsible for working with project teams, assisting with design / approval processes and delivery of residential developments. The role encompasses all aspects of residential subdivision development, from feasibility to delivery of the project.

  • Assist Project Directors/Engineers and Development Managers on projects primarily in the ACT and NSW regions.
  • Assist in feasibility studies and due diligence recommendations.
  • Assist prepare consultant briefs and help with the planning process and rezoning.
  • Liaise with consultants during the design, documentation, construction and title registration phases.
  • Assist Development Managers in the preparation of project budgets, cash flows and programmes.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Development Applications and voluntary planning agreements.
  • Assist Development Managers in monitoring the performance of projects against time, cost and quality objectives.
  • Assist in determining and shaping the sales and marketing strategy for projects.
  • Ensuring WHS legislation and regulations are adhered to in all areas of your responsibility including consultants, sub-contractors and other stakeholders that are engaged.


What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role you must be a proven professional in the construction and property industry and be hungry to succeed in an ever-growing business. Specifics around qualifications and attributes are below:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
  • Experience as ADM or in a similar role on greenfield subdivision projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate project programs, budgets, and cashflows using industry-standard tools.
  • Superior communication, leadership and demonstrated project management experience
  • Fantastic communication and presentation skills
