Your new role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will play a crucial role in deploying and managing Azure infrastructure solutions, contributing to the design and implementation of cutting-edge cloud technologies.

• Collaborate with internal IT and technical staff across business units.
• Support ongoing projects by deploying solutions to Azure infrastructure, including Purview, Front Door, Application Services, Identity B2B and B2C, Fabric, and analytics services.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Azure-based solutions.
• Estimate solution costs and track expenses through deployment and operational phases.
• Enhance the organisation's technical maturity and capability regarding Azure infrastructure.
• Operate within a corporate environment with change control procedures and RBAC security.
• Communicate technical details effectively and identify project constraints and conflicting priorities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure and DevOps on the Azure cloud platform.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps repos, pipelines, and service principals.
• Familiarity with Bicep templates, parameters, and deployment methods.
• Knowledge of Azure Verified Modules (AVM) is desirable.
• Experience with Azure billing, resource cost control, and planning.
• Strong documentation skills, including design diagrams and administrative instructions.
• Awareness of Azure security best practices and the ability to apply them to solutions.
• Excellent prioritization and self-management skills, with a self-starting attitude.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as
• AZ-400 DevOps Engineer
• AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect
