The firm's core practice areas include intellectual property, litigation, corporate and commercial law, employment, competition, and regulatory law. There are over 1000 employees, and over 100 in ANZ, with the local HQ in the new Sydney CBD offices.

Your new role

The Senior HRBP/Junior HR Manager (10–12 months FTC) will manage HR operations in Australia and New Zealand, working closely with the Head of HR APAC. This role requires a full generalist with a legal background to support senior stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities
Generalist HR Functions: Recruitment, remuneration, performance management, and HRIS migration from People Portal to SuccessFactors.
WGEA Reporting: Experience with Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting is highly desirable.
Global Projects: Support global HR projects, including occasional evening calls (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM).
Psychosocial Risks and Safety: Manage and mitigate psychosocial risks.
Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Benefits: Promote a global, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

HR Team in Sydney: HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, Local HR Manager: (going on parental leave – this role will replace), and Head of HR APAC.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Legal sector experience is essential

  • People management experience is preferred

  • Generalist HR background
