Your new role
Step into the exciting role of a Line Chef, where you'll be at the heart of preparing and cooking delicious bulk meals for residents at our partner's mining accommodation site. You'll ensure every meal meets the highest standards of quality and hygiene. This role demands flexibility to work a minimum of 10-hour shifts, alternating between day and night, on either a 7 or 14-day swing roster. Travel to Regional NSW sites is required, with many only accessible by car, so having your own transport is highly regarded. These are casual roles and an opportunity to join the Hays Mining Facilities Services pool.
What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in bulk cooking, including hot breakfast buffets, main meals, and desserts
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, including NSW Food Safety certification
Ability to work 10-12-hour shifts, alternating between day and night
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Flexibility to work on a 14-day swing roster and travel to regional areas
Willingness to undergo a full medical and National Police Check
