Experienced Planner required on a contract basis

This Local Government is seeking an experienced Planner/Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assess and process planning applications in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Provide expert advice on planning policies and regulations.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including developers, government agencies, and the public.
- Provision of customer support
Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or related
- Proven experience assessing development applications
- Strong understanding of planning legislation and policies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
