Your new company

Our client, a not for profit in the Northern Suburbs of Sydney, is looking for a Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager for a temporary opportunity.

Your new role

• Prepare monthly management accounts and dashboards, liaise with internal teams and assist the CFO with reporting packs for the Board.

• Prepare statutory reporting, preparation of half-yearly accounts and work with the external auditors.

• Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT reports, and support ad-hoc reporting.

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and ongoing forecasting.

• Ensure data integrity, processes and procedures are in place.

• Prepare monthly workpapers, reconcile accounting records, and support the Finance team with ad-hoc assignments and financial analysis as required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a CA/CPA qualified Finance Manager/ Senior Accountant who is available at short notice. You will need to have experience of supervising a team, excellent communication skills and be highly detail orientated. As with all Accounting roles, you will need to be excellent at hitting deadlines as well as supporting the team to hit their timeframe goals. As this role could become permanent, you must have full working rights and ideally you will have used Xero before.

What you'll get in return

You will get a temporary contract starting late April/ early May with an excellent not for profit, this could lead to a permanent role too. You must be able to travel to the Northern Suburbs of Sydney daily if required. The hourly rate on offer is in line with a salary of $100-110k + super.
