This organisation has been a renowned leader in steel products for over 20 years, manufacturing and supplying steel for some of the most essential buildings and structures around the world. Due to their expanding team, they require Maintenance Fitters to join their team across multiple sites in Adelaide’s West and South.
Your new role
In this critical role, you will support the production team by ensuring equipment performs to the highest standards. You will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, fault-finding, breakdowns, and repairs of their manufacturing plant equipment, including lathes, mills, folders, and slitters. There are two shifts available at both sites – both days and afternoons.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum Cert III Mechanical Fitting trade
- Experience within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics as well as gearboxes and conveyors
- Automation knowledge would be desirable.
- Working at Heights, EWP, and Forklift licence desirable
- Commitment to OHS procedures
- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
