Product & Project Development Lead

Your new company
As the leader in workforce development initiatives for our industries, Services and Creative Skills Australia (SaCSA) collaborates with industry, union, and government stakeholders to identify and articulate current and future employment trends and develops solutions that best serve the needs of the Arts, Retail, Hospitality, Tourism & Personal Services industries.

Your new role
This role is a full-time fixed-term contract with an initial 18-month term.
Australia wide but Melbourne preferred - Open to Remote & Hybrid.
You will report to the General Manager, Product Design & Development.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and drive the development of high-quality and industry-led training products and projects.
  • Contribute to the development of documentation required to support the training product endorsement process.
  • Ensure new and revised accredited training products meet the needs of industry, learners and the economy.
  • Develop and redevelop qualifications, skillsets, units of competency, guidance documentation and learning resources.
  • Lead working groups and collaboratively participate in committees, roundtables, workshops, forums etc.
  • Travel for stakeholder meetings and VET workshops, conferences, etc.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a project-based delivery environment, which may have included aspects of Project Management, Product Management & Relationship/Stakeholder Management
  • Experience working within the Australian Vocation Education and Training (VET) sector (Highly Desirable) which may have aspects of the following: quality/compliance, resource development/instructional design, Training/Assessment and stakeholder management within Arts, Retail, Hospitality, Tourism & Personal Services.
  • Experience undertaking research, data analysis, technical writing and corporate/government reporting.
  • Relevant Qualification, supplemented with competencies in Australia’s VET sector
