Your new role
  • Underwriting and Negotiation: Dive into underwriting M&A transactions and tax liability risks, while skilfully negotiating policies.
  • Document Review: Analyse sale and purchase agreements and due diligence materials with a keen eye for detail.
  • Relationship Building: Forge and maintain strong connections with brokers and clients.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Partner with lawyers, investment banks, fund managers, accounting firms, and private equity firms to cultivate relationships and deliver tailored TL solutions.
  • Custom Solutions: Craft bespoke solutions by leveraging underwriting parameters and policies, using your expertise to attract new business and retain existing clients.
  • Performance Monitoring: Keep a close watch on premiums, costs, and claims ratios per contract, taking corrective actions to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Risk Evaluation: Assess appropriate risk premiums by considering various factors such as risk costs, reinsurance cessions, capital exposure, and administrative costs, utilising rating models to ensure profitability.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in M&A: Bring your corporate/tax M&A experience from top accounting firms, law firms, or investment banks, with a deep understanding of M&A deal processes.
  • Analytical Prowess: Showcase your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excel in both oral and written communication, confidently presenting to clients and diverse audiences.
  • Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with your self-motivation, agility, and adaptability.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
