Your new role

As the Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of cloud-based systems. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your key responsibilities in this role will consist of, but will not be limited to:

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to AWS cloud infrastructure, promptly resolving any identified issues.
• Monitor the performance of cloud systems, proactively identifying and addressing any performance bottlenecks or issues.
• Contribute to discussions requiring expert advice on cloud infrastructure and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the design, planning, and implementation of new cloud-based systems.
• Maintain and administer Linux servers, ensuring their stability, security and optimising performance in a cloud environment.

What you'll need to succeed

As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experience and ability in:

• Cloud Administration, with expertise in the following AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, S3, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, SQS and SNS.
• Linux Administration with proven experience in system configuration, troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
• Implementing security hardening following guidance from Security Architects.
• Utilising Cloudflare's security services to secure web applications and caching.
• Integrating Salesforce with AWS environments and Amazon Connect.

*Successful candidate will hold a current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Clearance *

• A contract up to 12-months, with the possibility to extend for a further 2x 12-month period.
• The ability to work on-site in Canberra, or off-site
