Due to a high demand for Chefs and the increasing need for skilled staff within the Industry, Hays are seeking experienced Chefs to join a challenging and fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality, high-volume cafeteria/buffet-style dining service.
Your new role
As a qualified Chef, you will be responsible for the daily kitchen operations and quality food preparation, including menu development and serving of meals.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Ensure efficient preparation and delivery of meal services
- Operate large-volume commercial cooking equipment
- Food preparation and quality control
- Maintain a clean & sanitised kitchen
- Support stock management initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Required)
- Previous experience in bulk catering/commercial cafeteria environment
- Ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Food Safety/HACCP knowledge. (Highly regarded)
- Valid National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
