Your new company

A Government Health department in Nedlands, are seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join the team as soon as possible. You will initially be engaged on a temporary basis through Hays, working full-time hours Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm. You will be paid on a competitive hourly rate plus super, working in a department with paid parking on site or easy access to public transport.

Your new role

• Investigate faults and minor new work tasks and report on recommended solutions
• Estimate material quantities and carry out new installations or modifications
• Support in directing other trades staff and apprentices as required
• Ensure that equipment and tools are securely locked away

What you'll need to succeed

• A recognised qualification or certificate in Mechanical Fitting
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical systems, plants and services
• The ability to work autonomously
• Strong understanding of fault-finding and quality control
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage
