Your new role
Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Installer / Cabinet Maker to complete tasks such as:
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to install cabinetry and joinery efficiently and accurately
- Undertake full residential installations, including kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, bathrooms, vanities etc
- 90% installation-based role, with 10% factory requirements, assisting with the manufacture of cabinetry and joinery, using edge banders, panel saws, cnc machinery etc
- Conduct quality control checks to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and ensure customer satisfaction
- Effective communication and liaising with team to communicate progress, address concerns and ensure project requirements are met
What you'll need to succeed
The below skills are required to ensure you are able to maintain the expectations of the role:
- Cert III in Cabinet Making or Carpentry/Joinery or Shopfitting and Construction White Card
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- High proficiency with hand and power tools – plus a full set of your own
- Reliable transport and a manual driving licence
- Proven industry experience and ability to provide two working references
- Strong attention to detail
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role with a problem-solving mindset
- Can do attitude, motivation to learn and a great work ethic
