Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to enhance their Customer and Commercial team in the delivery of new business capabilities. Our client is at the forefront of the energy sector’s evolution, crafting innovative business solutions to stay ahead in a dynamic market.
Your new role
As Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business operations, optimising strategies, and improving our overall performance. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth commercial analysis to inform decision-making and support strategic objectives. You will lead the charge in providing data-driven management insights to bolster performance, development, and improvement strategies. In this role, you will provide strategic counsel and actionable analysis to Senior and Executive teams, guiding planning and reporting activities. You will utilise your ability to research industry best-practice and think laterally to identify issues ahead of time and recommend suitable solutions. Leveraging your extensive experience, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor for senior managers as well as for other internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience in a similar role within the energy or utilities industries
A strong ability to analyse business and operational metrics and the ability to prepare and present influential reports for executive leadership
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and build strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders
A natural desire to streamline processes, optimise efficiencies and drive initiatives in order to achieve the desired results
You are tech-savvy and proficient with computers and business systems, empowering you to optimise operations and navigate the digital realm with ease
A degree in business management, commerce or accounting and/or other relevant qualifications will be highly regarded

This is a flexible role with the ability to work remotely from any location in New South Wales. You will enjoy a supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration. The initial contract will start as soon as possible and will be for 12 months with the potential for extension.
