This large scale, core Federal agency based in Canberra City currently has multiple vacancies for IT project managers to work as part of their Digital Business Division.

Your new role

• Develop and manage project plans, external providers, timelines, and deliverables.
• Deliver successful programs and projects using methodologies like PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, SAFe or Managing Successful Programs.
• Effectively manage and mitigate risks across multiple projects to ensure alignment with project business case and allocated budget.
• Provide strong leadership, advice, and stewardship across programs involving multiple project streams.
• Ensure timely, effective, and transparent communication with the team, director, and other internal and external stakeholders regarding project timelines.
• Prepare reports, artefacts, and documentation for Project Boards, Senior Executives, or Governance requirements.
• Undertake Project Manager activities as required to fill gaps or provide additional expertise.
• Ensure compliance with relevant governance arrangements associated with ICT projects.
• Commit to undertaking peer review and being peer-reviewed.
