Hays are partnering with a leading Aged Care organisation who are looking for an experienced Clinical Care Manager to join their 110 bed village 13km North of Joondalup.
Your new role
Working in Collaboration with the existing Clinical Care Manager, this role has been created to work together in providing leadership and management of onsite clinical and care service delivery to all residents in the facility. This position will be instrumental in ensuring that residents living with dementia are receiving best practice, person centred care.
What you'll need to succeed
• Proven clinical care leadership experience and accountability for care and clinical outcomes
• Previous management experience and/or significant experience in aged care industry
• Responsible to share the out of hours on-call coverage (every second weekend)
• Active AHPRA registration
• Ability to problem solve to ensure that residents health and well-being is the main priority
• Understanding of the maximisation of care funding
• Experience in recruiting, managing, leading and mentoring a large team of clinical and care staff
• Knowledge and experience in Clinical Governance and meeting Aged Care Accreditation requirements
• Experience using an electronic care management system such as iCare
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Up-to-date influenza and Covid 19 vaccinations
