Your new role

As an Arborist your role will include but not be limited to:

• Maintain parks and gardens, reserves, streetscapes and open space areas
• Undertake reactive pruning of street trees with minimal proactive 'block' pruning
• Undertake tree planting, staking, mulching, watering and general maintenance of street and reserve trees
• Prune and remove trees to provide high quality arboriculture maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards in road verges, streetscapes and reserves.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years experience as an arborist.
• Chainsaw licence.
• White Card
• EWP Ticket.
• Knowledge of tree and plant Identification.
• Hands-on can-do attitude.
• First Aid cert (highly desirable)
• Council experience (highly regarded)
