Your new company

This Federal Government agency are responsible for operating and supporting a national scheme for vulnerable Australians. The Hospital Interface branch are responsible for supporting specialised pathways for vulnerable Australian’s to have more agency over their care.

Your new role

As a Program Officer working across a National team, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing technical expertise across a range of programs or activities including systems and people performance, financial, staff lifecycle, knowledge and change management to contribute to business unit outcomes.
  • Assisting with maintaining process and documentation relating to service delivery and utilising change and risk management principles to ensure impacts are communicated
  • Coordinating and analysing data to draft communications including reports, advice, presentations and communications for Ministerial, Parliamentary and executive responses.
  • Maintaining understanding of relevant statutory, regulatory and policy frameworks to apply across multiple portfolios and support the identification and development of innovative solutions.
  • Assisting with the collation and audits of workforce planning data, reporting on staff lifecycle and confirming against financial, systems and people performance data.
This is a multi-faceted role that would suit a candidate with experience supporting a number of business units and projects/programs of work. We are looking for an APS5 level candidate to handle different complexities of work.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for these roles, you must be an Australian Citizen will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in a multifaceted role e.g. project/program officer, case manager
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in the disability, health or aged care sectors.

In exchange for your commitment, a competitive hourly rate + 11%/11.5%superannuation will be offered, as well as the support of guidance of a dedicated Recruitment Consultant throughout your assignment.
