Your new role
As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic your duties will include:
Maintenance, service and repair of plant machinery and equipment, including light vehicles
Ensuring equipment service, repair records and pre-start documentation are current and maintained
Undertaking maintenance checks and working with production technicians to minimise downtime
Adherence to site procedures and control of the mobile workshop area
Identifying improvements in systems and planning to ensure reliability and availability of the mobile fleet equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
With recent experience in the mining industry, to be successful you will hold a relevant trade qualification and have working knowledge of underground and surface diesel mining equipment. You are proactive and have a strong work ethic and focus on safety and adherence to policies and procedures. You have highly developed problem-solving skills enabling you to respond to and resolve breakdown issues in an effective and efficient manner.

These are permanent positions offering a 7 on / 7 off day/night shift roster, and you’ll work within a supportive and inclusive team. They cater for both residential and drive-in / drive-out options. A salary package including superannuation and benefits will be negotiated dependent on skills and experience.
