Top Federal Organization, which is an independent statutory agency to support a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with a substantial and permanent disability and their children and carer(s). The internal Development team is looking to hire Data Engineer for a long-term contract.


Your new role
This role entails leading the data warehouse project, updating documentation, guiding developers, and approving data designs. It also involves partnering with business units to create reports and analytics that highlight risks and trends.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proficient in MS SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks, with expertise in coding for at least two databases.
  • Skilled in SAS or SQL (mandatory), and Python, R, or Java (preferred).
  • Knowledgeable in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiar with AWS Cloud services like S3 and Glue.
  • Advanced programming abilities, including Python and other languages.
  • Experienced in version control systems and their applications.
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting data models and specifications.
  • Above all, you’ll need to have diverse experience and a positive attitude!
