Direct Marketing Support Coordinator, 6 month contract

Your new role

Purpose of the role: The Direct Marketing Support Coordinator is accountable for providing administrative support to Acquisition, Retention and Bequest teams, with focus in operational support for programs, including appeals and regular giving. Assist with outbound calling programs, including thanking activities, and providing excellent customer service. Provide support in donor events planning & delivery.


The Direct Marketing Support Coordinator will own the outcomes of:
1. Support ongoing Direct Marketing activities across direct mail, telemarketing and regular giving channels (face-2-face, digital, DRTV)
2. Assist in the development, and production of marketing materials for direct marketing programs
3. Support the direct marketing team with stock management, quotes, purchase orders as needed
4. Tracking donor communications, actions and feedback in the CRM, supporting the bequest team with occasional tasks such as estate administration, archiving, and ad hoc projects
5. Provide general administrative support to the wider Direct Marketing team when needed
6. Assist with event work- invitations, calling up people etc.
7. Assist in marketing materials
8. supporting acquisitions and requests
9. Reading copy and flagging errors

Essential Experience:
• Previous direct marketing experience
• Excellent demonstration of managing priorities across different teams
• Strong excel skills
• Proven ability to work to strict deadlines managing multiple projects
• Demonstrate experience in a customer service/facing role, ideally over the phone

Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail – both written and numerical
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good understanding of Excel and strong data and reporting skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Desirable:
• Knowledge of fundraising principles
