Your new role

This LGA is looking to bring on a driven Senior/Principal Development Assessment Planner who can hit the ground running. Your role will predominantly be focused on the assessment of major development applications, review of court appeals, consent modifications and assurance of compliance with various legislation. You will be considered a specialist by the Manager and provide insightful advice as well as represent the Council at Land and Environment court.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have at least 3 years’ experience working at a Senior Planner level. You will also have extensive knowledge of NSW planning legislation and experience in the preparation and presentation of court-related documentation. You will have a strong knowledge of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act as well as the local government act.
